The Rig Veda is one of the most ancient bodies of mystical and scientific knowledge on the earth. Because of its botanical source, the divine Soma mushroom, it is also the most current and verifiable body of knowledge that exists.

Since the discovery of the Rig Veda by Europeans in the mid-fifteen hundreds, the world’s greatest botanical mystery was the identity of the plant called Soma that revealed the contents of the Rig Veda. This plant was a living Goddess who revealed the contents of the Rig Veda in visions to those who ate the plant or drank its juice.

These ancient people were the “seers” of these sacred visions of knowledge that then became written literature in the Sanskrit language.

The mystery of the identity of the Soma plant was finally solved in 1968, with the publication of the book, Soma: Divine Mushroom of Immortality, by R.G. Wasson. Soma turned out to be a mushroom.

Many plants had been proposed as being the vision-producing Soma, but only one fits the descriptions of Soma given in the Rig Veda exactly and perfectly, the beautiful blood-red mushroom with white spots on its cap, Amanita muscaria, var. divina. A red mushroom with white spots can be described in only so many ways. Pattern recognition was the key to Wasson’s identification.

Wasson had solved the mystery of Soma’s botanical identity, but did not mention Soma’s connection to Sirius.

The star Sirius is clearly identified by scholars as the Star form of Soma, and the association of Sirius with the Great Goddess is well established in both Asian and African cultures.

Soma is not just a sacred plant, but is the living Goddess of Heaven, Mother Nature, who wears a red dress with white spots, and whose home is in the heavenly alpine birch forests just below the spectacular peaks and ridges of the Himalayas.

The descriptions of the mushroom star Goddess appear not only in the Rig Veda but in other ancient scriptures, also, as the following verses show.

Soma faces in all directions without turning, and appears with the coming of thunderstorms.

Soma is the universal and immortal Goddess who created all living things. Those who eat the flesh, or drink the juice of the Goddess’ mushroom are healed of any disease or wound they suffer from. People who are old and gray are made young again.

In the Bible, Ezekiel says he saw a wheel upon the earth, and that the wheel had spokes (the mushroom’s gills), and was “full of eyes round about” (the spots on the mushroom’s cap). The “wheel” rose from the earth (mushrooms “rise” from the earth), and when the wheel “went” (rose up), he heard the sound of “many waters” (rain), and the ”thunder of the Almighty.” Mushrooms “rise” with the “many waters” of thunderstorms.

The “Ancient of Days” takes his seat on the “Throne” of Isis. The mushroom’s shape is that of a throne because it is the earthly form of the Goddess. Isis is called the Throne.

Descriptions of Soma are given throughout the Rig Veda. Soma is blood-red, and lives high in the mountains, under a sacred tree. Soma appears with the coming of the thunderstorms.

Because Soma is a living thing in the here and now, the Rig Veda qualifies as both the oldest and also the most current body of mystical knowledge on the earth. A living body of knowledge in the form of a mushroom. Knowledge and healing that we can eat and drink.

“He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life,” Jesus says at John 6:54

Jesus was speaking as the mushroom, “I and my father are one.”

The sacred visionary knowledge of the Rig Veda continues to be revealed to modern-day seers, who know to eat two dried Soma mushrooms, or drink the juice of two fresh mushrooms. Two mushrooms is the correct amount to take. The milk of the Goddess is pressed from her two mushroom breasts.

Both ancient and current seers agree that the universal knowledge contained in the sacred hymns of the Rig Veda, and the miraculous healing power of the Mushroom Goddess who reveals them, is not intended for a particular race, country or people, but is the common inheritance of all mankind, and has been preserved down through the ages to be made available again to the people of this age and time.

The Goddess reveals her knowledge in Vedic Sanskrit, the mother tongue. The languages of Europe, including German, Spanish, Italian, French, English and others, are called Indo-European because they are descended from Vedic Sanskrit, the universal language of the Goddess.

Mushrooms are organisms that are neither plants nor animals, and reproduce from microscopic spores that are released from their gills. When the spore germinates, its “body” makes a circular “mat” of spider-web-like fibers called mycelium. This body of mycelium can extend for many kilometers in all directions, and weigh many tons.

A mushroom is to its body what an apple is to an apple tree, and is correctly referred to as the fruit of the fungus.

In April 1992, in the USA, the scientific journal Nature reported the discovery of a mushroom body (thallus) that is the oldest and most massive living thing on earth. This enormous mushroom body lives in the forest floor beneath a hardwood forest in northern Michigan.

By use of genetic fingerprinting, scientists from the University of Toronto, and Michigan Technological University, were able to show that all of the mushrooms occurring in 39 acres of forest floor in northern Michigan were springing up from one genetic individual that originated from a single spore.

The scientists said that this fungal giant weighed more than any other living thing found so far, and that it had been alive and growing since the end of the last ice age, making it older than any other living organism found on earth. They noted that because their search has just begun, it is certain that older and larger mushroom bodies will be found.

They are correct. The largest and most ancient of these mushroom bodies are those of the Goddess’ sacred mushroom called Soma. It is alive now in certain high and remote mountains in heavenly Garden of Eden like points of creation on the Earth. Her home is on high, in the heavenly alpine forests of the Himalaya, under the majestic white alpine birch, the Tree of Life.

The Garden of Eden of the Bible is located at the springs of origin of the four rivers of Eden named in the Bible, Pishon (Halys), Gihon (Aras), Tigris, and Euphrates. Three of the four rivers have their springs on one mountain, and there are white birch trees at their springs. The healing and regenerative mushroom of immortality still lives there, and continues to be the fruit of the tree of life.

The Tree of Life is the first created thing. When the circular mat of the Goddess mushroom’s vegetative body, called the thallus, reaches one meter across, the sacred birch tree, the Tree of Life, rises out of the center of the thallus. The Goddess is the Measurer, the Mater, the Mother, the Meter, Demeter. The Sacred Tree is created first as a matter of practical necessity. The tree improves the mushroom’s habitat by shading its body, and covering and protecting it with leaf-fall.

The mycelial strands that comprise the Mushroom Goddess’ underground body is massive and can weigh many tons, and has it’s origin within the cells of the roots of the tree. The mushroom and tree share nutrients and water in a symbiotic relationship.

The mycelial body is immortal and only the sudden poisoning of a planet by pollution, or the explosion of its parent star in a supernova, can terminate the mushroom’s body on that planet.

The roots of the holy tree act as a water reservoir for the Mushroom Goddess to draw on if needed, while the mushroom’s body provides nutrients for the newly created tree.

Because of the symbiotic relationship between the Divine Mushroom and the Tree of Life, the Mushroom is, in a biological sense, the fruit of this “tree of life.”

Each cosmic mushroom produces and releases millions of microscopic spores that are part of the atmospheric “soup” of spores that surround us in our natural environment. These microscopic globes of cosmic consciousness are present during our every word and behavior. “I am with you always,” Jesus said.

With the germination of Her spore (the Golden Egg), Mother Nature is off and running again, creating a new biosphere and all that goes with it.

The image on the right is drawn by the Dogon, and represents the vehicle of the Nommo, and resembles a spore right down to the pore at upper right.

After creating the great diversity of flora and fauna of the biosphere, and the trees and plants have generated enough oxygen to sustain that greatest marvel of the creation, the human being, the Goddess starts to create human beings, two by two from the womb of her massive underground body.

The Goddess is a living being. Wisdom (Veda) is her name.

Using the sound resonance patterns of lightning and thunder, she generates the DNA of all living things, and grows them out within the substance of her own body, on the heights of heaven, in various Gardens of Eden on the planet, under the sacred Birch, the Tree of Life.

She has been alive since the beginning of creation.

From eternity, in the beginning, he created me, and for eternity I shall not cease to exist.

When the mushroom first comes out of the ground, it has a white wool-like covering that will become the mushroom’s spots as it continues to grow.

“With you is Wisdom, who knows your works and was present when you did make the world, and who understands what is pleasing in your sight and what is right according to your commandments. Send her forth from the holy heavens, and from the throne of your glory send her, that she may be with me and toil, and that I may learn what is pleasing to you.”

Ever-widening his circle says the Rig Veda of Soma/Haoma. This is in fact the case with mushrooms. Each year the mushroom’s circle is a bit larger due to a year’s growth of the mycelial body (thallus) as it radiates out from the point where the spore germinated. Many people refer to this mushroom circle as a fairy ring.
